We are a non-profit organization that supports and recognizes the Police, Fire & Medical 9-1-1 Operators of Alameda County. This recognition committee is a group of Dispatchers from each police and fire agency in Alameda County who plan and fundraise for an annual recognition banquet. This is an event that is held during National Public Safety Telecommunicators week. This event is a special evening designed to celebrate, appreciate and recognize the public safety dispatchers of Alameda County who continuously work hard to help keep our communities safe. The event is paid for with the funds raised through various fundraisers, raffles and donations received throughout the year. A portion of this year's proceeds will be donated to Type 1 Diabetes also known as Junior Diabetes Research Foundation.
